Forward to next month
03.03.08 -
Monthly BCP meeting, 7 pm, Wicklea Community Centre.
05.03.08 -
Monthly Respect meeting, 7.30 pm, Wicklea Community Centre.
13.03.08 -
Bristol Friends of the Earth meeting.
The monthly meeting is at Redland Library, Whiteladies Road at 7.30pm. Neil Harrison, Lib Dem Councillor for Cotham is going to talk briefly about the motion on renewables in new development which he has submitted and he hopes will be passed by the full council at their meeting on Tues 1st April. A copy of the motion can be seen
here.
We also hope to have other interesting people including Ed Matthew is working on a FOE national campaign on the roll out of renewables to existing housing stock and how this can be achieved. He has been involved in Co-op sponsored research on this and related issues. Mike Birkin South West Regional Campaigns Officer for National FOE has been working on this issue regionally and on the Regional Spatial Strategy. So it should be a very interesting evening. All FOE meetings are open to the public. The Library is two buildings up the hill on the left side going up after the end of the Clifton Down shopping centre on Whiteladies Road - opposite the Tyndale Baptist church and just after the crossing. It is on the corner of Whatley Road and Whiteladies.
There will be lots of time for questions and discussion and we aim to finish at 9.15pm.
24.03.08 -
APAG Easter Egg Hunt at Arnos Park, 10 am to 12 midday.
