Archaeology Begins at Home

Uncovering artefacts in your own garden
July 22nd Arnos Manor Hotel 7pm for 7.30pm.

Local historian Mike Hooper has kindly agreed to talk to us about researching the history of your own house. This is the first step to understanding the pottery and other artefacts that can be found in almost every garden. BCAP have begun a series of garden excavations (just 1m square), and members will explain this exciting and ambitious project.

Entry is free if you join BCAP on arrival (£5 for the year until March), members £1, non members £2.00, Children under 16 enter free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Seating is limited so please RSVP to BCAP or 07974 772357 to make a reservation.

If you already have items of interest from your garden, do bring them along.
