The only known postcard of Brislington by J Sydney Rigden contains five lines of advertisement: "J SYDNEY RIGDEN, Photographer, 49 High St, Coed Poeth. Wholesale and Retain Post Card Printer, Selected Album of 100 Real Pictorial Photo Post Cards, £1. Views of Districts taken to order. Distance no object. Enlargement from any faded copy in any style and process." Coedpoeth is a village in North Wales, just west of Wrexham.
