1. Minutes of the last meeting

2. Finance


Applications for further funding:

A number of applications are outstanding. Little action on these due to time pressures on SP. SC volunteered to assist with funding applications.
A discussion was started regarding the rolling-up of BYCA/Lazer funding etc. into BCP accounts to make for administrative ease. This will be discussed further in the future.

Arno’s Park Action Group would like to invite the street worker team and YP to get involved in writing funding applications for a fixed skateboard facility in Arno's Vale Park.

3. Projects

Football Project

SC hopes that BCC may fund the football project up till December.
There is the possibility of YOP funding for 2 nights per week for football, also for trampolining with an instructor (thank you BCC). Other possibilities include dance for Young Women and Dj-ing for Young Men.

Basketball Project

Finished.

Skateboard Project

No report.

4. Street Based Workers

No report.

5. Wicklea

YB are happy to accept an extended lease and are seeking funding to make improvements to the building and equipment. YB will require reasonable repairs to be made to the building.

Wicklea youth club is now open 2nights a week Tues. & Weds.
Karate is available Mon. & Thurs. + some Sat.

6. Counter-Terrorism/Community Info

Nothing to report.

7. Any Other Business

Jean Slater (formerly NHW administrator on this sector) has donated Play Station2 with dance mat for use at Wicklea.

"Ability Sport" will be using Wicklea on Mon. & Fri., maybe weekends at some time in the future also.

A suggestion was raised to put the issue of a bye-law to prevent drinking in parks to BCP.
