2. Wicklea Update
Trevor Jones reported that he felt the rug had been pulled from under YB by the line that had been taken by the Partnership in approaching the City and indicating that it was prepared to take control of Wicklea.
DW pointed out that it was YB had indicated that if the Council did not respond to YB’s offer to accept the 25 year leas he would think of withdrawing, after some further discussion it was agreed to meet at Wicklea at 7-30pm on the 15/12/08 with the Shadow Management.
3. Finance

4. Reports
Hayley stated that she had come along to engage with the youth at Wicklea as Brislington was down as a black spot for smoking area, after some discussion she would work with Sally and the outreach workers to advertise a course at wicklea.
Tim reported that The Awards for all funding application had been Turned down in a rather cursory fashion and he was disappointed with all the work he had put in.
There was still some funding outstanding from the City and he was having difficulties in forwarding their report on how they were meeting the targets, Sally undertook to resolve the problem.
He also reported that the Skate Board Project was going from strength to strength and felt that there was a need for a third youth worker to keep an eye on things while the other two were fully engaged, a fire extinguisher had been stolen last Saturday, he thought he knew who was to blame and had banned them from Wicklea unless they returned it, he felt a line had to be drawn. He had someone in mind for the third worker and it was agreed that if his CIB check was clear this would be looked at by Trevor & David to agree.
Sally reported on her efforts to improve uses at Wicklea and was preparing a flyer to cover activities in the area and would include the out reach work and Skat Boarding, there had been an outbreak of racisms in the district and was using outreach workers on Tuesday nights. She would look for ways to fund or help out on a Saturday afternoon on the Skateboard Project.
The police said that they were keeping an eye on Saturdays although they would not always be visible.
This ended the meeting.
